make it big with shiny teeth
maybe add a little hole
girl you're drawing with some coal
and that's all that's left of it
a burned out diamond
worth a shit

You say it represents your heart
but that's so long ago
scientists found the parts
deep down in the snow

Now it's stuffed in some museum
scaring little kids
with the inscripture "Carpe Diem"
something that you never did
